LeBron Raymone James Sr., born December 30, 1984, is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James, he's widely regarded to be the greatest player of all-time and often is compared with Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketball player of all time. James has won four NBA championships, four NBA MVP award and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has the world record of the most amount of points scored during the postseason, second highest total career point total and seventh the most assists in his career. He was named an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times and on be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. The third most number of NBA Finals ever was ten and eight of them were consecutive between 2011 and 2018. James was selected to be a member of the NBA75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player ever to score at least 10,000 points in a career. James was a basketball player in St. Vincent St. Mary High School, in Akron Ohio. The national media hailed James as an NBA star. He was a top pick for the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the number one pick of the NBA draft in 2003. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, he soon established himself as one of the best league players winning an NBA MVP title in both 2009 and 2010. James joined Miami Heat in 2010 when he became a Free Agent after failing to achieve an NBA Championship in Cleveland. The announcement of his departure was broadcast in The Decision.
