Sofia Pernas, a Moroccan born in California that grew up within Orange County, moved there in the age of five. Her breakout moment began in 2015 when she earned her degrees from University of California San Diego. Pernas appeared as a guest on NCIS and Leverage, before securing the role as Marisa as Marisa in The Young and the Restless. After a break from the soap her actress was cast in a job as Catalina in Jane the Virgin. The model, fluent in four different languages, has appeared since in The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also made an appearance on Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and 2020, she appeared as Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The actress from This Is Us Pernas started dating Justin Hartley in the wake of her breakup with Chrishell Stause. she was engaged to since November of 2019. In May 2021, the news was reported that Pernas Hartley was recently engaged in private.
