Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born in South London, England into a mixed family. Her father and mother were both English. She was born on a south London council estate, and when she was 14, attended The Brit School. She attended an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned an BA in acting. In her time at the school, she performed in several stage productions, including the King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started her acting career in the film Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe landed her first motion picture in the 2007 Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. In the wake of that film's success she was cast as Elisha in the one-off BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside playing Ollie. In 2008, she got Bambi's character on ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in both series 2 and 3. Madekwe also played the main character on How to lose friends & betray people, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment back in 2008. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport for the ABC Drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just two weeks on The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge in February of 2011. After appearing on the show for the initial two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to leave the show after her appearance on the premiere episode of the third season. The actress played Tituba in the show Salem in 2014 until. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. Apart from Secret Diary of a Call Girl they also appeared in tandem on Salem and also he played an appearance with her on the show on TV.
Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. Her parents, Roy and Patty and her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's family, which is all sportsmen, played in the summer months and play hockey in the winter months. Ashley could not walk but was able to dance. In the end, as she grew older when she was two, she began to learn about Baby Ballet. Ashley was captivated by dancing at the age of. Ashley was a competitor in ballet, tap and jazz at the top divisions.
