Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor and model who is active primarily in Indian film. Jacqueline Fernandez was the year 2007 Miss Sri Lanka Universe winner. Fernandez was born into a household with Canadian, Sri Lankan and Malaysian descent. She lived her first time in Bahrain. Her education is in mass communications at the University of Sydney. She spent a long time as a journalist on television within Sri Lanka before she entered the modelling world. In the wake of representing Sri Lanka at Miss Universe 2006, she gained a reputation as one of the best model in Sri Lanka. When she was in 2009 on her professional tour to India, she landed the part of Jasmine in the Sujoy Ghosh film 'Aladin'. In 2011 she was scouted for the role of Priya in the role of the female lead of "Murder 2". Fernandez was able to build a career in the aftermath of this film which was an absolute success both at the box-office and the reviews. Since then, she has appeared in films like Housefull 2 & 3, "Race 2", "Definition Of Fear" and Judwaa 2. She has been the brand ambassador of many companies and has earned multiple prizes. As a committed member of the community, she supports several charitable organizations and a number of causes.
