Andrea Joy Cook
A.J. Cook, a Canadian actor most well-known for his portrayal of Jennifer Jareau (JJ) for the films Criminal Minds as well as The Virgin Suicides in 1999 and 2003 respectively. She is also well-known for other parts. Cook's credits on television include Dead Like Me, Tru Calling, Higher Ground, Bluemoon, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, Elvis Meets Nixon, In His Father's Shoes, Laser Hawk and the film for television Island Heat. Cook was in feature films Blood Suckers II, Final Destination II The House Next Door Out Cold Ripper The Virgin Suicides Kisses The Tinker. Cook was born in Whitby by her father Mike who works as a teacher at school and mother Sandra, who is a psychiatrist. Other siblings included Angela, Nathan, and Paul. Her family was a Mormon and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She took ballet, tap and jazz classes while a small child. The only time she reached 17 that she got into acting. She's competed in a variety of dance contests. Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze was the inspiration for her to turn into an actor. Cook was married to husband Nathan Andersen in August 2001. She first met Nathan Andersen at Utah Valley University and took a class on film. Mekhai Allan Andersen is the father of the couple.
